Hello May!
Spring has officially arrived at Rove Winery, bringing with it a renewed sense of energy and anticipation. Beginning Memorial Day weekend, we will extend our hours to welcome you throughout the week, Monday through Sunday from 11am to 9pm, with our full summer schedule officially beginning May 29th.
This May also marks a meaningful milestone for us as we celebrate 10 years since opening our doors on May 5th. It has been a decade filled with growth, connection, and unforgettable moments. We are deeply grateful to each of you who has been part of this journey. In true Rove fashion, one day simply is not enough, so we will be celebrating all season long.
Be sure to save the date for our anniversary celebration on June 5th, featuring our friends The Broomcloset Boys. Alongside the festivities, we will be releasing new wines, including a long-awaited sparkling, and opening up our library for a rare opportunity to taste and purchase select wines we have carefully aged over the past decade.
As we step into this next season, we do so with immense gratitude. Your continued support and presence make everything we do possible. We are honored to share this journey with you and look forward to another unforgettable year together.
Wine of the Month
2023 Dry Riesling- $26/bottle and $12/glass
Bright and expressive, this Dry Riesling opens with delicate aromatics of apple blossom and jasmine, unfolding into notes of Honeycrisp apple, white pear, and soft spring florals reminiscent of cherry blossom and ripe peach. On the palate, vibrant acidity carries layers of lemon zest and crisp minerality, creating a clean, refreshing finish.
Beautifully balanced and lively, this wine sings alongside crystallized prairie breeze cheddar and rosehip jam, where its acidity and subtle fruit elevate both the savory and sweet elements.
